OASIS Welcomes New TAB Members

New OASIS Technical Advisory Board (TAB) representatives include Jacques
Durand of Fujitsu, Michael Mahan of Nokia, Jishnu Mukerji of Hewlett
Packard, and Timothy Stevens of LexisNexis. The OASIS TAB is a group of
industry experts who provide guidance on issues related to strategy,
process, interoperability, and scope of OASIS technical work.
The consortium expresses appreciation to departing TAB members, Derek
Coleman of Hewlett Packard, Chet Ensign of LexisNexis, Jackson He of Intel,
and Krishna Sankar of Cisco Systems, for their service and guidance over the
past two years.

CGM Open Forms OASIS Member Section

After more than five years of successful cooperation with OASIS as an
affiliate, CGM Open has transitioned to become an OASIS Member Section to
advance the WebCGM Graphics standard.  WebCGM version 1.0 is a vector
graphics standard used in online technical documents such as parts catalogs
and electronic manuals.

Make Plans to Attend OASIS Adoption Forum and UNECE Seminar

The OASIS Adoption Forum in Brussels will be preceded by a one-day seminar
from the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. "Fostering Internet
Enterprise Development by Governments and by Large Companies Through
Subcontracting" will be held 5 Oct at the Crown Plaza Brussels Hotel. The
seminar is targeted to professionals active in the area of Internet
enterprise development working for governments, businesses, international
organizations, and academia. There are no participation fees, but
registration is required.

Submit Abstracts for OASIS Open Standards Days Sydney Before 16 Aug

OASIS Open Standards Days 2004, to be held 20-22 Oct in Sydney, Australia,
is the second annual Sydney e-business event for management and technical
professionals from industry and government. Requested topic areas are posted

made prior to 16 Aug.

OASIS to Cosponsor BuilConn Europe

OASIS is pleased to cosponsor BuilConn Europe: Network Building Systems
