OASIS PKI Member Section Supports Fourth Annual PKI R&D Conference

will be jointly sponsored by NIH, NIST and Internet2, in cooperation with
the OASIS PKI Member Section. The event will feature workshops that cover
the full range of public key technologies, as well as related
infrastructures used for security decisions. In particular, this year's
focus will be on emergent trust mechanisms and how they will interact with
each other at technical, policy and user levels.

OASIS Schedules TC Leadership Training in New Orleans

In conjunction with the OASIS Symposium in New Orleans, the Consortium will
conduct a training session and dialogue on how to effectively manage an
OASIS Committee. Staff will join new, existing, and prospective TC leaders
to discuss issues such as the TC Process, IPR Policy, Kavi, membership,
InterOp demonstrations, publicity, specification testing, and more. The
session will also address best practices for building consensus, promoting
adoption, coping with legal realities, and taking advantage of Consortium
resources. All TC chairs, secretaries, and editors are strongly advised to
attend this session, as well as anyone interested in leading a future OASIS
Committee. Please contact Jane Harnad (jane.harnad@oasis-open.org) if you
have questions regarding this event.

OASIS Federated Identity InterOp Demo to be held at RSA Conference, 16-17

OASIS, GSA E-Authentication Initiative, Enspier, and RSA Security will
co-sponsor the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) v2.0 OASIS Standard
InterOp Demo at the RSA Conference on 16-17 February in San Francisco.

Telegraph and Telephone (NTT), OpenNetworks, Oracle, RSA Security, Sun
Microsystems, Symlabs and Trustgenix will come together to demonstrate

single sign-on and secure e-business transactions possible.
