OASIS News 15 November 2005 Welcome to OASIS News, a weekly update of announcements, accomplishments, and activities for the international standards consortium. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- First OASIS Legacy TCs Successfully Transition to New IPR Policy Two longstanding TCs have become the first to transition to the 2005 OASIS IPR Policy. The OASIS UDDI Specification TC has transitioned to RF on RAND Terms mode, and the OASIS CGM Open WebCGM TC has transitioned to RF on Limited Terms mode. This individual will be responsible for acting as the primary contact for specified OASIS TCs and providing them with direct support. Qualified candidates will have at least three years of experience as an active participant of an open standards organization, basic familiarity with XML, and strong communication skills. Experience with topics being developed by a current OASIS TC is preferred.
