Successful candidates will serve until July 2012. OASIS Foundational, Sponsor, and Contributor members are asked to vote (one ballot per organization) by 23 June. http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/members/201005/msg00008.html ----------------------------------------------------------- World Customs Organization (WCO) and OASIS sign MoU According to the Memorandum of Understanding, OASIS and the WCO will work together to address the needs of Member Customs administrations in key technology areas such as Web services, data security and data privacy standards, compliance with legal measures for data protection, and other areas of common interest. The OASIS eGov Member Section will take the lead role in liaising with the WCO. http://www.oasis-egov.org/announcements ----------------------------------------------------------- IMI 1.0 Errata public review begins Identity Metasystem Interoperability (IMI) enables the use of Information Cards that let people authenticate themselves on multiple web sites without maintaining passwords for each site. This public review ends 4 Jul. http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/tc-announce/201005/msg00002.html ----------------------------------------------------------- XACML 3.0 (and related profiles) public review begins The collection of specifications includes the eXtensible Access Control Markup Language (XACML) 3.0, SAML 2.0 Profile of XACML 2.0, XACML 3.0 Multiple Decision Profile 1.0, XACML 3.0 Hierarchical Resource Profile 1.0, and XACML Intellectual Property Control (IPC) Profile 1.0. OASIS Telecom is an open, active community committed to bringing the full advantages of SOA to the telecommunications industry. All OASIS Telecom participants are invited to nominate qualified candidates and/or consider serving. Created on the principles of interoperability and innovation, the standardization of ODF was an important milestone in the campaign for document freedom. http://opendocument.xml.org/news/odf-turns-five ----------------------------------------------------------- OASIS issues Call for Identity Management 2010 Proposals are now being accepted for the Identity Management 2010 Conference. This year's theme is "Worldwide Identity Solutions for Online Security, Privacy and Trust". Presentations should focus on aspects of engineering-improved, cyber security systems and how to compete with changing technologies and modes of communication that are becoming available to citizens of both developing and developed countries. This OASIS IDtrust event will be held at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, DC on 27-28 Sep.
