OASIS Foundational, Sponsor, and Contributor members are asked to vote (one ballot per organization) by 23 June. http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/members/201005/msg00008.html ----------------------------------------------------------- OASIS Standard vote opens for CAP 1.2 Balloting for the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) version 1.2 is now underway and will close 30 Jun. CAP 1.2 describes a general format for exchanging all-hazard emergency alerts and public warnings over a variety of network types. The specification was developed by representatives of AtHoc, Desktop Alert, Environment Canada, Sandia National Laboratories, US Department of Defense, Warning Systems, and others. Use cases, requirements for new elements, enhancements to existing elements, and other suggestions are welcome.
