TC proposers include representatives of Adobe, Enonic, Hippo, Jahia, Liferay, Magnolia, Nuxeo, OpenText, SDL Tridion, and others. David Nuescheler of Adobe is the convener; a TC chair or two co-chairs will be elected at the first meeting, which will be held by teleconference on 16 Jan. Their work will enable modeling and reasoning so that implementers can structure, evaluate, and compare legal arguments constructed using rule representation tools. Monica Palmirani of the University of Bologna, Italy serves as convener; a TC chair or two co-chairs will be elected at the first meeting, which will be held by teleconference on 19 Jan. Its public review ends 20 Jan. The EDXL Distribution Element 2.0 describes a standard message distribution format for data sharing among emergency information systems. TestCases for the SCA Policy Framework 1.1 describes a series of tests that an SCA runtime must pass in order to claim conformance to the SCA Policy. SAML 2.0 Attribute Predicate Profile 1.0 provides a mechanism to allow a SAML authority to certify that a given Boolean predicate holds over one or more of a subject’s attribute values, without revealing the exact values of these attributes. http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/tc-announce/201112/msg00009.html http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/tc-announce/201112/msg00008.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Biometric Identity Assurance Services (BIAS) TC approves Committee Specification The BIAS SOAP Profile 1.0 specifies how to applications can invoke biometric identity assurance operations remotely in an SOA infrastructure. http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/tc-announce/201112/msg00001.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RSA Expo to feature KMIP and XACML Interop Demos OASIS will host two interop demos at the RSA 2012 event in San Francisco, 27 Feb-2 Mar. Members of the Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) TC and the eXtensible Access Control Markup Language (XACML) TC will participate, including: Axiomatics, BiTKOO, Boeing, Cryptsoft, IBM, NetApp, NextLabs, Oracle, QuintessenceLabs, SafeNet, and Thales Information Systems Security. Additional participants will be announced soon. http://rsaconference.com/events/2012/usa/index.htm ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OASIS, Environment Canada, and ITU collaborate on workshop The Emergency Alerting Policy Workshop will explore domestic policy and international coordination issues for public alerting and identify how these issues are being addressed within implementations of the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP). The workshop will be held in Montréal, Canada, 1-2 May.
