ebXML RegRep 4.0 becomes OASIS Standard

Members have approved ebXML RegRep version 4.0 as an OASIS Standard.
The standard defines the service interfaces, protocols and information
model for an integrated registry and repository. Congratulations to
the ebXML RegRep TC co-chairs, Kathryn Breininger of Boeing, and
Farrukh Najmi of Wellfleet Software, and to all TC participants for
this accomplishment.

service; an overview of recent changes to TC Process and discussion of
what they mean for TCs; an outline of planned changes and improvements

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
KMIP 1.1 public review begins

The four documents define version 1.1 of the Key Management
Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) Specification, Profiles, Usage Guide,
and Use Cases. KMIP offers a single, comprehensive protocol for
communication between clients that request any of a wide range of
encryption keys and servers that store and manage those keys. By
replacing redundant, incompatible key management protocols, KMIP
provides better data security while at the same time reducing
expenditures on multiple products. The public review ends 22 Feb.

Test Assertions Guidelines 1.0 public review begins

These guidelines are designed to improve the quality of standards
produced by OASIS TCs and other groups through the use of test
assertions. The public review ends 15 Feb.

This document defines reference architecture for the Symptoms
Automation Framework (SAF), a tool in the automatic detection,
optimization, and remediation of operational aspects of complex
systems, notably data centers. The public review ends 19 Feb.
