The work will be based on the Akoma Ntoso-UN project. The LegalDocML TC's goal is to collect requirements from the community of the stakeholders who create, manage and use legislative and legal documents (editors, libraries, public institutions, tribunals, publishers, etc.) in order to extend and refine the standard. LegalDocML TC proposers include representatives of the Africa i-Parliament Action Plan (UN/DESA), ENEA UTT-PMI, European Parliament, and others. Monica Palmirani of CIRSFID, University of Bologna serves as convener; a TC chair or two co-chairs will be elected at the first meeting, which will be held by teleconference on 29 Mar. The related Primer serves as an introduction to the Framework, which provides a practical "how to" standard for the design and implementation of an effective program of technology-enabled change at national, state, or local government level. The use cases are intended to be used for further analysis to determine if gaps or requirements exist in current identity management standards and identify areas where additional open standards activities are needed.
