LegalDocumentML TC forms

LegalDocML will advance worldwide best practices for the use of XML
within a Parliaments’, Assembly’s or Congress’ document management
processes, within courts’ and tribunals’ judgment management systems,
and generally in legal documents including contracts. The work will be
based on the Akoma Ntoso-UN project. The LegalDocML TC's goal is to
collect requirements from the community of the stakeholders who
create, manage and use legislative and legal documents (editors,
libraries, public institutions, tribunals, publishers, etc.) in order
to extend and refine the standard. LegalDocML TC proposers include
representatives of the Africa i-Parliament Action Plan (UN/DESA), ENEA
UTT-PMI, European Parliament, and others. Monica Palmirani of CIRSFID,
University of Bologna serves as convener; a TC chair or two co-chairs
will be elected at the first meeting, which will be held by
teleconference on 29 Mar. All interested parties are invited to
participate; contact join@oasis-open.org for details.

TC publishes Transformational Government Framework and Primer

Transformational Government Framework (TGF) Pattern Language Core
Patterns 1.0 has been approved as a Committee Specification. The
related Primer serves as an introduction to the Framework, which
provides a practical "how to" standard for the design and
implementation of an effective program of technology-enabled change at
national, state, or local government level. TGF is a managed process
of ICT-enabled change in the public sector, which puts the needs of
citizens and businesses at the heart of that process and which
achieves significant and transformational impacts on the efficiency
and effectiveness of government.

IDCloud Use Cases 1.0 public review begins

These normative use cases examine the requirements of identity
management functions as they are applied to any cloud deployment or
service model. The use cases are intended to be used for further
analysis to determine if gaps or requirements exist in current
identity management standards and identify areas where additional open
standards activities are needed. The public review ends 13 Mar.

OASIS welcomes new Sponsor: Cloudsoft
