Each will serve a two-year term beginning July 2012. All members are encouraged to consider serving in these positions or nominating qualified candidates. Nominations must be received and accepted by 9 May. http://www.oasis-open.org/board/election-process ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TC approves Symptoms Automation Framework (SAF) 1.0 The new Committee Specification defines a reference architecture for the automatic detection, optimization, and remediation of operational aspects of complex systems, notably data centers. Hosted information can be either traditional personal and enterprise calendar information or services that support XML payloads. ECF 4.01 is a maintenance release that addresses minor schema and definition issues identified by implementers. Analysis of the use cases will determine if functional gaps exist in current identity management standards. The public review ends 20 Apr. http://t.co/PHVGengd ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TC to host webinar on Transformational Government Framework (TGF) Scheduled for 23 May, the webinar will present information on transformational government can provide better, more complete services for citizens and businesses. The one-hour presentation will offer an overview of the TGF work underway at OASIS and the governments that are currently using TGF. Designed for new members but open to all, this 30-minute session will cover basic information, including how to participate in TCs, gain voting rights, start new standards work, and use the members-only web site. The interactive webinar will be held on the second Monday of every month at 15:30 UTC.
