Members propose CMIS4DAM TC

All interested parties are asked to review and comment on a draft charter to establish the OASIS Content Management Interoperability Services for Digital Asset Management (CMIS4DAM) Technical Committee. CMIS4DAM will work to resolve interoperability issues experienced by DAM solution providers and end users by leveraging the widely adopted CMIS standard. CMIS4DAM will eliminate the need for expensive custom integration by enabling digital assets to become interchangeable between different systems. Initial CMIS4DAM TC proposers include representatives of Alfresco, DAM Foundation, Meyle+Mueller, Northeastern University, and others. Ralph Windsor serves as convener. The member comment period for this draft charter closes 16 Sept.

XACML TC publishes two Committee Specifications

The eXtensible Access Control Markup Language (XACML) TC approved both the XACML SAML Profile 2.0 and the XACML 3.0 Additional Combining Algorithms Profile 1.0. Congratulations to TC chairs, Bill Parducci and Hal Lockhart of Oracle, and to all TC members for accomplishing these milestones.
