Mark Collier of the OpenStack Foundation and Chris Ferris of IBM will discuss the relationship between Open Standards and Open Source in this live-without-a-net, 30-minute conversation hosted by Jamie Clark. Watch via Google+ or on YouTube at 15:00 UTC on Tuesday, 30 Sept.

CMIS4DAM TC forms

The Content Management Interoperability Services for Digital Asset Management (CMIS4DAM) TC will work to define a profile of the widely adopted CMIS standard for use in DAM. The goal is to eliminate the need for expensive custom integration by enabling digital assets to become interchangeable between different systems. TC proposers include representatives of Alfresco, Nuxeo, DAM Foundation, and others. Ralph Windsor serves as the convener; the TC chair(s) will be elected at the first meeting, which will be held by teleconference on 28 Oct. All interested parties are invited to participate; contact join@oasis-open.org for details.
