The TC was launched in July 2008 to develop a method for system builders to create integrated environments for document creation and localization based on core XML-related standards. The TC approved the Reference Model for Open Architecture for XML Authoring and Localization Version 1.0 Committee Specification 01 on 12 December 2009.
As is standard OASIS policy, the archives of the Technical Committee will remain publicly visible on TC's web site at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/oaxal/.
The TC email list will be closed but the archive will remain available at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/oaxal/. The comments email will remain open and will be accessible at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/oaxal-comment/.
