I now have a solution for us -- so long as we keep the meetings short
(because LonMark is a not-for-profit organisation).  I can provide dial-in
numbers for the following areas:

London (17cents/min/participant)
Paris (17cents/min/participant)
Amsterdam (20cents/min/participant)
Dublin (20cents/min/participant)
Frankfurt (20cents/min/participant)
Berlin (20cents/min/participant)
Munich (20cents/min/participant)
Tokyo (25cents/min/participant)
Singapore (25cents/min/participant)
Hong Kong (25cents/min/participant)
Sydney (25cents/min/participant)

While those are not big numbers (USD cents), they do add-up.

Folks,

Well the first meeting was a bust.  Sorry to all those who tried to
phone in from the US.  It looks like the service didn't accept
non-European calls (weird!). Mike has offered to look into an
alternative service.  In the meantime does anyone have access to a
stateside service that we could use in case Mike is unsuccessful?
