Meeting Schedule for oBIX

The meeting time we have now (Thursdays, 11:00 ET) was chosen merely because it was when oBIX met years ago. 11:00 is as early as we can comfortably push the west coast of the US, it is as late as we can push the participants from Vienna. If no one from California shows up, we can consider moving it earlier in the day, to better support the European members. We can entertain proposals for another time.

As long as we keep the current time (which I think we should for now), it collides once a month with the EMIX TC, which some members of the oBIX TC are also on. EMIX meets on the second Thursday of every month. It happens that a week and a half ago collided with EMIX, but that meeting was cancelled. If we need to reliably meet weekly, we should consider another time/day. Until I receive a proposal, we can keep it as it was.

For now, this means every other week on Thursday at 11 ET, skipping the second Thursday of every month. We missed one, but we had some mechnics to get out of the way. We should have template by the beginning of next week, 1.1 WD06 will soon go out for public review, Jira is set up, we can now proceed.

I am therefore scheduling the next few Thursdays by this pattern, but not to many, because we have not had a full discussion of schedules.

As before, the TC needs a Secretary.

The secretary is responsible, after consulting with the Chair, for publishing an agenda for each meeting.

The secretary is responsible for publishing minutes, which is made much simpler through the use of the notes from the Chat

The secretary is responsible for the roster (in Kavi, the OASIS site) which determines voting rights as per OASIS rules

The secretary will probably get additional rights to move issues along in Jira.

I have not yet requested a template for oBIX 2.0 because I need to have an editor.
