Subject: Ambitious Meeting Agenda
It looks like we can attain quorum for only 15 minutes on Thursday. Craig will not be able to attend. Although his non-appearance means he cannot vote, he can write this list and indicate how he would have voted, to alleviate any concerns in the rest of the TC. By my account, this means 8 roll-call votes at under 2 minutes each. We can do it, but not if we spend 5-10 minutes getting started. I will waive any opening comments, and we can put off approving minutes for a later meeting. We would like to have 1.x voted out for review this week, with the goal of having the 30 day review completed before the end of August. (It does take a while for the process…) As chair, I would be happy to receive motions similar to the following. I am sending them out now so that you can click on the links, and assure yourselves that they are the correct documents and artifacts to vote on in advance of the meeting. We further direct that the PDF version of the specification is authoritative. 2) I move that the OASIS oBIX TC approve submitting oBIX Version 1.1 CSD 01 and its associated XML artifacts as requested in the previous vote for a 30 day initial public review and further direct the Chairs to perform any actions required by the TC Administrator to accomplish that issuance as soon as practicable. We further direct that the PDF version of the specification is authoritative. We further direct that the Public Review be linked to and simultaneous with the public reviews for the following associated specifications.
