Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Issue Comment Edited: (OBIX-24) Section 4, Figure 1, Line 269 - What does "range: anyURI" mean for obix::bool?

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OBIX-24?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=35340#action_35340 ]

Ludo Bertsch edited comment on OBIX-24 at 10/17/13 7:07 PM:
------------------------------------------------------------

Although Range is discussed in 4.1.9, I think it is not very intuitive what is really meant by Range for boolean until you see the example shown in section 10.2, when it finally becomes clear. When I first saw it, I immediately thought of a numerical range, as per your comment, and I was wondering why it would be necessary to have a range if all you had was 0 or 1 - thus my original question.

So in summary, I think that clarity should come in section 4.2.1.1 through an example such as shown in 10.2, and I suggest that this issue be changed to unresolved.

I agree that we should generate a new issue to deal with the comment I made regarding having "val" in Figure 4-1 for "obix::bool" and not for the others.
