I cannot locate a definition for "OBIX:Nil" in obix-v1.1-wd43.xsd. The type of the referenced global attributes is "contractList", so this should be a contractList containing only the contract reference "Nil".

The value therefore would be the string "Nil", not a namespaced string obix:Nil.

UPDATE: the references are to the stdlib.obix file, which is referenced but not included in WD43.

Updated after discussion with Craig and Toby about the missing stdlib.obix as the source of obix:Nil and obix:obj.
