Subject: A Special Majority Ballot to approve 5 OBIX Committee Spec Drafts as Committee Specifications as been set up

Members of the OBIX TC,

A Special Majority Ballot to approve 5 OBIX Committee Spec Drafts as Committee Specifications as been set up.

As a convenience, I have arranged for all the questions to be offered such that you only have to open one ballot to vote. For each draft, you will have the option to vote YES, NO or ABSTAIN. For example:

[ ] YES - Bindings for OBIX: WebSocket Bindings Version 1.0 CSPRD02
[ ] NO - Bindings for OBIX: WebSocket Bindings Version 1.0 CSPRD02
[ ] ABSTAIN - Bindings for OBIX: WebSocket Bindings Version 1.0 CSPRD02

Please be careful to vote for only one option on each draft. If someone accidentally votes  two choices on one draft, I will ignore that vote. Of course, note that as with all ballots, you will have the opportunity to go back and change your votes up until the ballot closes.

The ballot opens 08 September 2015 at 00:00 UTC and closes 14 September 2015 at 23:59 UTC. You can access the ballot at:

This ballot is only open to eligible voting members of the TC. I currently show the following members as eligible to vote:

* Bertsch, Ludo,  Continental Automated Buildings Association
* Bogen, Chris,  US Department of Defense (DoD)
* Considine, Toby,  University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
* Cox, William,  Individual
* Gemmill, Craig,  Tridium, Inc.
* Hub, Matthias,  IBM
* Jung, Markus,  Institute of Computer Aided Automation

If you do not see your name on this list and you believe that to be an error, please notify the TC Chair and me so that we can rectify the situation.
