nomination for Chair of the OASIS OCPP TC

Dear OASIS OCPP TC members,

The Open Charge Alliance (OCA) represents an international group of 60 companies that over the years have joined forces to develop an open IPR and royalty free protocol OCPP for back end system to EVSE communication. Although OCA has handed over the development of the next version of the protocol (OCPP 2.0) to the OASIS OCPP TC, OCA will in parallel continue to be the industry Alliance for OCPP promotion and the future OCPP certification process. OCA nominates Mrs. Lonneke Driessen-Mutters, OCA Director Standardization, as chair of the OASIS OCPP TC.

As chair of the OASIS OCPP TC Mrs. Driessen will:
- Ensure that the protocol will take shape with mutual agreement and consensus of all players in the global EV charging ecosystem
- Expeditely execute the ambitious development plan for OCPP 2.0 according to the proposed TC schedule of 1 year
- Work closely with IEC to ensure maximum alignment of the OASIS OCPP standard and the future IEC standard
- Promote OCPP globally to further increase market adoption of OCPP

OCA believes that her experience with OCPP development and her extensive network amongst the EV industry make Mrs. Driessen an excellent candidate.
