Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Created: (ODATA-5) Allow Collection(ComplexType) and Collection(PrimitiveType) for Type attribute of ValueTerm
Allow Collection(ComplexType) and Collection(PrimitiveType) for Type attribute of ValueTerm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key: ODATA-5 URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/ODATA-5 Project: OASIS Open Data Protocol (OData) TC Issue Type: Improvement Components: OData CSDL v1.0 Affects Versions: WD01 Reporter: Ralf Handl Assignee: Ralf Handl Fix For: WD01 The Type attribute of the ValueTerm element is currently limited to [<simpleIdentifier>][csdl19] or [<qualifiedIdentifier>][csdl19]. As each model element can have at most one ValueAnnotation for a given ValueTerm and Qualifier, this is too restrictive. We already identified situations where we need a Collection(SimpleType) or Collection(ComplexType) as the Type of a ValueTerm. Also a ValueAnnotation is conceptually similar to dynamic Property, so allowing the same set of types for both will increase protocol consistency. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
