Proposal for introductory paragraph:

An Entity MAY have one or more named stream properties.  The actual stream data is not contained in the Entity.  Instead stream property data is fetched and edited via URIs.  The value for a named stream property contains the URIs for fetching and editing the stream data along with other metadata for the stream.  This is shown in the following example.
