Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Updated: (ODATA-118) XSD references Microsoft namespaces edm/annotation and codegeneration

Michael Pizzo updated ODATA-118:

This is a great case for a core annotation; store generated pattern isn't really part of the model, it's a behavior.

Propose we remove references to attributes defined in annotation and codegeneration namespaces.

StoreGeneratedPattern is something we should define in a core vocabulary.

> XSD references Microsoft namespaces edm/annotation and codegeneration
> ---------------------------------------------------------------------
> Key: ODATA-118
> URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/ODATA-118
> Project: OASIS Open Data Protocol (OData) TC
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: OData CSDL v1.0
> Affects Versions: WD01
> Environment: [Proposed]
> Reporter: Ralf Handl
> Fix For: WD01
> The non-normative XSD uses constructs from the following external namespaces:
> - http://schemas.microsoft.com/ado/2009/02/edm/annotation
> -- attribute StoreGeneratedPattern
> -- attribute LazyLoadingEnabled
> - http://schemas.microsoft.com/ado/2006/04/codegeneration
> -- attribute GetterAccess
> -- attribute SetterAccess
> -- attribute TypeAccess
> The only one really needed is StoreGeneratedPattern as an annotation on entity type properties telling clients that the server will choose (or compute) a value for this property upon insert or update.
