We proposed to define the following valid operations:
    DateTimeOffset + DayTimeDuration->DateTimeOffset   
    DateTimeOffset - DayTimeDuration-> DayTimeDuration
    DayTimeDuration+ DayTimeDuration-> DayTimeDuration
    DayTimeDuration- DayTimeDuration-> DayTimeDuration
    DateTimeOffset + DateTimeOffset -> DayTimeDuration
    Date + DayTimeDuration->DateTimeOffset (or Date and throw away smaller components)
    Date - DayTimeDuration->DateTimeOffset (or Date and throw away smaller components)

We observed that the following operations were valid, but did not propose adding them at this time:
	-duration / int
	-duration * int
	-adjust (to change the timezone)

Define add and sub operations also for operands with datatypes "timepoint" and "duration" in the following way:
 timepoint add duration -> timepoint
 timepoint sub duration -> timepoint
 duration add duration -> duration
 duration sub duration -> duration
 timepoint sub timepoint -> duration

Use the algorihtm described in http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-2/#adding-durations-to-dateTimes for adding a duration to a timepoint. For subrating a duration from a timepoint a comaparbel algorithm should be defined.
