Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (ODATA-312) ATOM and JSON formats for Service Document appear to omit information for action imports

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/ODATA-312?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=32811#action_32811 ]

Ralf Handl commented on ODATA-312:
----------------------------------

This is intentional: only resources that support a GET request to the URL specified in the service document are advertised in it, i.e. entity sets, named entities, and parameterless function imports.

Action imports don't support GET and thus have no IncludeInServiceDocument attribute.

> In ATOM and JSON format specs (2013-03-19), the service documents can mention function imports but not mention action imports.
> Is this an accidental omission, or intentional?
