While applying the proposal to the specification I detected that we also should clarify whether or not parameter aliases can be used more than once in a URL. In the spirit of the decision we made for system query options ("Don't allow any system query option to be used more than once") I clarify it in the same way for parameter aliases("Don't allow any parameter alias to be used more than once"). Remark: for custom query options we have not clarified/restrict anything, because the meaning of a custom query option is completely defined by the service implementer, this includes whether or not the custom uery option can be used more than once in a URL
