RE: [odata] Agenda for OData TC meeting on 2016-09-15

Please remember to take some time prior to our meeting to review the applied changes to the 4.01 documents.  Doing so will greatly increase our productivity and efficiency during the meeting.

 

In particular, please review the following changes:

1.    1) Conformance sections of each document describing 4.0 versus 4.01 requirements (ODATA-846)

2.    2) Revised update semantics, especially deep inserts/updates (ODATA-924, ODATA-922, ODATA-666) and bulk operations (ODATA-615, ODATA-616)

3.    3) Semantics around OData-SchemaVersion header (ODATA-928)

4.    4) Indexing collections (and effect on conextUrl) (ODATA-820)

5.    5) Semantics around omitting nulls/defaults (ODATA-818)

Questions to consider:

1.    1) ODATA-616

2.    -Does POST to $index=-1 mean before the last record or as the last record?

3.    2) ODATA-937

4.    -Note wording for EntityId/OData-EntityId:

5.    "The EntityId header was named OData-EntityId in OData version 4.0. Services MUST return the OData-EntityId header for responses that have an OData.Version response header of 4.0 and the EntityId header for response with an OData.Version header of 4.01 or greater, and MAY return both EntityId and OData-EntityId headers in the same response."

6.    3) Nested delta support (ODATA-613, ODATA-876, ODATA-964)
