Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (ODATA-1086) AppliesTo semantics are not normative
George Ericson created ODATA-1086: ------------------------------------- Summary: AppliesTo semantics are not normative Key: ODATA-1086 URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/ODATA-1086 Project: OASIS Open Data Protocol (OData) TC Issue Type: Bug Components: Vocabularies Affects Versions: V4.01_CSD02 Environment: Schema definitions Reporter: George Ericson Fix For: V4.01_CS02 The term attribute AppliesTo is documented in section "14.1.2 Applicability" in a way that has been interpreted to mean that the AppliesTo values are merely recommendations. From a specification point of view, this renders the AppliesTo attribute having no semantic value. I expected that the intent is that AppliesTo values are normative restrictions, but that the set of values may be changed in future versions of the vocabulary. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.2.2#6258)
