Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (ODATA-1387) Difference between Asynchronous and Repeatable Requests
Heiko created ODATA-1387: ---------------------------- Summary: Difference between Asynchronous and Repeatable Requests Key: ODATA-1387 URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/ODATA-1387 Project: OASIS Open Data Protocol (OData) TC Issue Type: Improvement Reporter: Heiko Fix For: V4.01_ERRATA01 The term "[Asynchronous Requests|https://docs.oasis-open.org/odata/odata/v4.01/odata-v4.01-part1-protocol.html#sec_AsynchronousRequests]" invites comparison to the term "Asynchronous SOAP communication". The latter involves "reliable messaging", which is not implied by the former. However, readers of the OData specification who are acquainted with SOAP may not be aware of this difference. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.3#803004)
