Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (ODATA-1516) Support returning inline count accuracy
Michael Pizzo created ODATA-1516: ------------------------------------ Summary: Support returning inline count accuracy Key: ODATA-1516 URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/ODATA-1516 Project: OASIS Open Data Protocol (OData) TC Issue Type: New Feature Components: JSON Format, Protocol Affects Versions: V4.01_OS Reporter: Michael Pizzo Fix For: V4.02_WD01 We say that the @odata.count value may be an approximation, but we don't provide a way for a client to know if it is accurate. Additional control information to return an accuracy would enable clients to understand how reliable the count value. One option would be to add @odata.countAccuracy (or @odata.count.accuracy) to the JSON control information, with values such as: exact, atLeast, estimated. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.3#803004)
