2.) Update on deliverables

- ODF presentation
- xml.org focus area --
Editorial Board convening June 21 @16:00 GMT
=============================================================
Before we began a discussion on the
deliverables, Waldo Bastian requested that the ODF Adoption committee invite
Dr. Lotzi Boloni, of the University of Central Florida to attend a future
meeting. The purpose of Dr. Boloni's guest participation will be to present
and discuss the ODF Test Suite project that he directs at the University.
An invitation was subsequently sent, inviting him to participate on July
11, 2006.
A discussion followed regarding the
content that is already up on the site OASIS ODF Adoption wiki for review
and edit. This content is regarded as building blocks for the new ODF Focus
Area once online starting June 26.
The committee members gave Erwin some
feedback on this content.
Gary agreed to reach out to J. David
Eisenberg to seek permission to link to his ODF technical content; e.g.
developer tools, and documentation.
Gary suggested recording J. David's
lectures on ODF and then making them available for viewing via the KnowledgeBase.
The concept is to establish 'educational links'.
3.) News/updates about ODF efforts in
France, Denmark, Massachusetts
=============================================================
Some discussion on the RFI responses
for the ODF plug-in in Massachusetts highlighted the fact all responses
are now public as of June 20 here:

4.) OpenOffice.org Conference update
================================
Erwin reported that OpenOffice.org Conference
registration site is up and operational. A selection committee is reviewing
and voting on selecting proposed topics from the abstracts submitted. The
final selection will determine the conference agenda. A preliminary agenda
is expected to be determined by June 30.
The meeting was adjourned at this stage.
