We accepted last weeks minutes. We accepted the agenda. Progress on Deliverables ======================== Don and Martha are planning to upload content until Friday. Don will publish the innovation work that he has been working on. Don is still working on accessibility documentation. OpenOffice.org Conference Update ================================ There will be an ODF panel with participation from IBM and Sun on Wednesday morning. In addition, there will be an ODF track on Wednesday. OASIS is interested in sponsoring the ODF panel. OASIS was a media sponsor in previous years. ODF News / Round Table ====================== ODF 1.1 ------- The accessibility report has to go onto the focus area. ODF 1.1 is in public review phase. 60-day period closes at the end of September. KDE akademy / ODF day --------------------- Speakers include Florian Reuter and Daniel Carrera from the OpenDocument foundation. Michael Brauer or Lars Oppermann from Sun will also be there. A list of engineers and the program has been published. Dhananjay will provide a link. ODF Wiki integration -------------------- Intel is working on a ODF Wiki integration. MediaWiki will be supported. The integration will be two-way, i.e. wikis can be uploaded and downloaded/modified. Alan/Novell found an OpenOffice.org addon on the TWiki site. The addon is very workload/CPU intense. It's work in progress. Extremadura ----------- Extremadura is adopting ODF. See for example: http://lwn.net/Articles/193402/ ODF interoperability extensions ------------------------------- Extensions to ODF are being discussed that are useful for addressing features which are only available in a few applications, but are important for round-trip scenarios.
