Four of nine voting members attended, therefore a quorum was not achieved, and no vote was taken on the minutes of August 29.

Progress on deliverables

======================
- ODF collateral review (presentation and white paper)

There was discussion on finalizing the draft documents. Don Harbison updated the ODF presentation. An update was made to clarify a bullet point.  Further discussion focused on the status of the ODF white paper. Carol provided OASIS guidelines for how to provide author attribution for language translations. Erwin will make that adjustment to the French language translation. Erwin agreed to re-format the white paper in the OASIS template after technical review of the template with the Star Office technical team. Carol will coordinate with Mary McRae to post the finalized OASIS template in ODF format.

A vote on the final form of these collaterals will be taken in a future TC meeting.

- ODF focus area on xml.org
   - Launch plan  final discussion

Carol Geyer led the discucssion on this topic. The TC agreed to publicly launch the site during the ODF track at next week's OpenOffice.org Conference. Charles Schulz will demonstrate the site during the ODF panel by using video projection from his laptop. Carol will send Charles a proposed method for touring the site. Carol will draft a press release. TC members are urged to continue to update content for the site especially products/services pages.

- DITA/ODF/DocBook Interop Demo

Don provided a brief update informing the TC members that activity to produce an interoperability demo of ODF/DITA/DocBook was underway.


Updates about upcoming events

- OpenOffice.org Conference, Lyon, France


Erwin reported that 550 people are now registered for the conference, the largest attendance ever. Charles informed the members that there is alot of excitement and last minute activities underway regarding the ODF track on Wednesday, Sep 13. Alan Clark requested DVD player support for Debra Anderson's keynote "The Novell migration to OpenOffice.org". Charles will make the request to the conference organizers.

- ODF Day at KDE Akademy, Dublin, Ireland

Rob Weir provided a brief update. Lightning talks are now posted to the ODF Day wiki here: http://wiki.kde.org/tiki-index.php?page=OpenDocument+%40+aKademy+2006

ODF News / Round Table

* the French government agency adoption of OpenOffice is receiving more publicity.

No further updates were offered by the members.
