Updates on deliverables
=======================

Don just posted a news link to an IDG article for which he provided
some input.

White Papers
------------
Don also made some changes to his innovation white paper which is
supposed to get uploaded soon.
Erwin wants to finalize the English and French ODF white paper as
soon as possible.
Erwin will check with Carol and Mary on the official process.
We should try to vote on the content next time we reach a quorum.
In the meantime everybody should review the content one final time.


Round table
===========

J. David Eisenberg has not received feedback on the XForms white
paper, yet.

1.5 draft of Office Open XML has been published.
It's a 37MB download incl. ZIP files.
It's around 6000+ pages.
It's now two months before the next ECMA meeting.
The next ECMA meeting will be in December.

On October 20 there will be a round table discussion in Cambridge
at the Harvard Law School. It's called the Transatlantic Consumer
Dialog. Sam Hiser, Rob Weir, and Doug Johnson will be present.

Concerns regarding interoperability have come from Europe to the
US. Representative from California will be talking about
interoperability. Connecting Windows desktops with Linux servers
has become a common situation.

Erwin will be presenting about ODF to IT managers at a small event
in Brussels. At the same event Microsoft will present about Office
Open XML.

Bob Sutor will be speaking at Office 2.0 conference.
