Alan Milnes, IBM

This special ODF Adoption TC Call was held to finalize our plans for
presentation and panel abstract submission for the OASIS Symposium in San
Diego next year. The submission was due on 15th December 2006 but Jane
explained that this was not a hard date however the submission had to be
ready early in the New Year

Alan Clark had outlined a proposal at
http://wiki.oasis-open.org/odf-adoption/InteroperabilitySessionProposal#preview
and this was reviewed with edits being made on the Wiki during the
discussions.

It was suggested that we aim for 4 presentations with a panel Q&A at end.

Jane mentioned that we could also run a 1/2 day session on a specific
subject if we wanted.

Various ideas were discussed including sessions on ODF Future (ODF 1.2 and
beyond) / Accessibility Issues / Migration Strategy / Best Practices.
There were issues with where these would fit on the agenda - the committee
felt these should be part of the mainstream event. It was agreed to
finalise our plans on the next call (Tuesday 19th December).

The meeting was adjourned at this stage.
