A quorum was not attained, therefore
the TC did not vote on the minutes of December 12.

The first topic discussed was the ODF
content proposal for the OASIS Symposium (April 15 - 18, 2007, San Diego).
After extensive discussion the TC agreed to submit abstracts for (4) presentations
and a panel.

2.) ODF Interoperability - Rob Weir
to draft abstract
3.) ODF Futures - Don Harbison to draft
abstract
4.) ODF Adoption and Migration - Erwin
Tenhumberg to draft abstract

The panel discussion with short lightning
talks representing the above presentation content will be proposed, and
designed to spur interest and discussion on the content as well as to create
attendance for the full sessions to be scheduled following the panel.

Abstract drafts will be circulated to
the TC via our mail list. We will finalize the plan during the January
2, 2007 TC call. 

Next, the TC reviewed and approved for
publication the paper entitled 'Open by Design - The OpenDocument Format
Standard for Office Applications'. The paper was edited by Don Harbison,
extending the excellent introductory paper by Erwin to include content
on 'opportunities for innovation' with ODF plus a short inclusion of 'Twenty
Things You Can Do with ODF' by Rob Weir. The paper will be published as
by Novatica and Upgrade in Spain.

The TC approved the publication of this
paper.

Charles Schulz gave a brief update on
the status of his investigation of a press article that declared ODF support
was not possible in Vista.

The TC agreed not to convene on December
26, 2006 due the Holiday Season celebrations. The TC agreed to reconvene
on January 2, 2007.
