The issue is to convince the artists on the various implementations to use the right icons. Also note that on Windows you ship your own icons, but on Unix (and Mac?) that's not typically the case. The platform typically has the icons already. In KDE4 the icons are available in the icon theme and they are application-agnostic. -- Thomas Zander
