Subject: Draft Minutes: TC Coordination Call - August 25, 2009


 
1.) Logistics

 - Roll call

- Determination of quorum status: 5/8 Voting Members in attendance therefore a quorum was achieved.

 - Review, amend/approve the minutes from our August 11, 2009 TC call:

- Acceptance of today's agenda:


The agenda was accepted with no changes.

2.) ODF Focus Area -- Spam Problem Update - how are we doing in the interim?


* a suggestion was made to expand control over the http://opendocument.xml.org site facilities in order to speed reaction time for spam control/remediation efforts.

* a suggestion was made to request the site statistics for the http://odfalliance.org web site for comparison.

3.) OpenOffice.org Conference planning including ODF Track, ODF Interoperability Workshop, etc. - All


* a 'state of ODF' abstract was submitted by Rob to the conference organizers. The idea is to conduct a panel discussion with the chairs of the OASIS ODF TCs, plus Marino (ODF Alliance), and Svante Schubert or Rob (ODF Toolkit Union). Rob will submit the abstract/proposal.


4.) Review, TC Action Item plan:

* Bart is continuing to develop the technical work supporting his draft paper on Digital Signatures. Symphony will support this feature.
* Bart requesting feedback to his Metadata draft.


5.) ODF News / Round Table  -- All

* Discussion on the ODF interoperability work, the ODF Plug-fest, etc.
* Action item agreed to invite Fraunhofer to participate in the ODF Plug-fest.
