2,) ODF 1.2 Status - Rob 
ODF 1.2 Public Review of COS should
have started Monday, June 20, 2011, but we have not yet seen it started.
 This is a 60 day review, followed by a 15 day period for an OASIS
member vote (1) company/(1) vote. Only corporate members vote at this level.
At this rate, the vote should conclude the 2nd week of September


3.) ODF Plug-fest / Berlin - Rob

Charles inviting everyone on the TC
to join LibreOffice Conference in October 13 - 15. The CFP has been announced....

organisers need to figure this out; 10/14 or 10/15 for 

10/12 'off day' for BoD meetings; or
that evening there would be a greeting meeting done by the 'cluster'; the
conference sessions to start on Thurs., 10/14 - 10/15/2011

5. ) News & Roundtable 

Charles wants to bring up a discussion
topic. Meetings with French public sector re. migration to LO, also some
interest on Symphony. The advanced people in charge of migration ....all
have heard re. ODF, but in the field, there is no document format migration
plan or strategy. Only when exchanging with people outside the 'ODF world'
they use PDF to share documents. Leaving MS-Office is no longer a weird
path, but there is a lack of awareness, and/or lots of questions of a practical
nature. Organization issue and management. 

Andre: there is a study, Digital Agenda
assembly in Brussels, and on standards and interoperability. Bjorn Lundel,
professor in Sweden...got a high response rate from government. Thierry
von de Piehl (sp?) .<<from the automotive field.

Nellie Kroess, Commission of the Digital
Agenda community... how to move forward with standards-focused policies.
 Recognition of consortia standards, not just ISO standards.

Peter Brown attended from OASIS, but
he promoted more of OOXML than ODF.
