Subject: Re: [odf-adoption] Proposed Agenda TC Coordination, January 10, 2012
Dear TC, I am a freelancer now and would like to join the ODF Adoption TC and I already like to add two questions to the agenda: a) What is the optimal state-of-the art way to spread news about ODF events in the community, e.g. the ODF track at the Linux conference in Berlin in May. Is there a public ODF calendar? b) How can we improve the information transfer about ODF to other working groups. For instance the upcoming ePUB ISO standard is based on ODF 1.0 and not ODF 1.2 and reinvented (incompatible) XML signature & encryption for their package. What is missing to use the ODF 1.2 part 3 (ODF Package) for e-reader devices. My first guess would be right management. How can we improve the adoption here and give feedback to the ODF TC? PS: The call was 4-5pm CET, right? (Strange, that in Thunderbird I have to explicitly save the ical.ics attached file from the Event mail and drag&drop it to Lightning before it notice the event).
