DISCUSSION: PK. Guidelines currently at 34 pages, 6 Sept latest draft. Due date is end September for first draft submission.

4  Subtables.

DISCUSSION: PB. Still appears vague in 1.1. Have generated extra explanation with CA.

• PB. Currently reads, In the OpenDocument schema, this table can be represented in either of the ways as detailed in Sample 1 and Sample 2.
• PB. Want to change content. Unable to copy to IRC. Action PB to submit to SC via Rich.
• PB wants to add non normative text, expanding on rationale for deprecation.
• Discussion on class of standard and rate of change.
• PK. If we have a TC ratification of 1.1, then 1.2 submission to ISO with all our items in. Is there a difference for users? Gets us a faster 1.2
• RS. Unsure if 1.2 will be delivered on schedule.
• PK. Comment period closes tomorrow.
• RS. Can flag as a public comment. Or put this in our guidelines document.
• PK. State that we will address this in the guidelines, and aim to deprecate subtables in 1.2.
