Subject: Action Item - Is the spec. ready for a full review

The short answer is no. We need to consider these as interim drafts. Some indicators the spec. has a way to go:
- Table refresh does not have any units yet. Rob indicated that this may in seconds. If so, this feature introduces no issues for users suffering from seizures.
- The TC is not sure how they are going to integrate the schema
We can start looking at features being added:
I had a call with Rob Weir this morning and discussed dynamic updates:
- DDE Updates are going to happen at load time
- Generally, the user would need to refresh the entire page to pick up updates. In these situations we do not need to worry about live areas.
- Where there are "dynamic" updates they are in the areas of volatile properties, and a few others in the formula specification
- We need to look at the impact of XForms on events generated in forms such as error events
- The TC had not considered alert or notify sections to let the user know when something critical was going to happen. He is going to look into this in the group as it may have value. This is equivalent to WAI-ARIA rude notifications for live regions. I asked them to consider issues like scrolling these events into view in office agents
- Updates to areas in spreadsheets are read only from a user perspective but updated via back end database bindings
Rob suggested we look at the new chart work going on in ODF 1.2
As for schedule we are looking at early fall for a formal working group draft of ODF 1.2.
