Subject: RE: [office-collab] Use Case coverage for extended-ct-proposal -request for details
Wiki updated. However, I do have a few concerns. The list of cases under “Multiple Changes” and “Other” seems somewhat arbitrary. I’m not comfortable thinking that “Multiple Changes” is a definitive list
of multiple change cases that are particularly sticky for ODF. There are likely redundancies and omissions thinking from the perspective of such a list, somewhat of a suite of test cases. Indeed, there are new multiple change cases I added to the supplement
1 doc based on questions Ganesh raised. How are we accounting for those? The “Other” list does not explain at all what each case is. This concerns me as it seems these lists are being looked to as a formal yardstick. So, I’m a bit concerned that the Wiki lists are based in large part on
the set of examples that happened to have been created prior to the SC. Many of them are valid and valuable, of course, but there are certainly omissions and likely redundancies. John From: Robin LaFontaine [mailto:robin.lafontaine@deltaxml.com]
