Thanks for your comment. We can try a poll perhaps, but I see no reason why we would get responses to that if we do not get it to other emails, but we shall see! I also provide my time on a pro-bono basis.

while I agree that the outcome is not ideal in various ways, and I
can personally understand your disappointment, it is always a risk
to infer consent from silence.

Several members of the SC seem to donate their time here on a
pro-bono basis, and it's probably not fair to demand full attention
just before, or during the holiday season.

Our calls, and subsequent discussions, tended to be quite
controversial, so I suggest for the future to indeed conduct a
strawman poll prior to a TC ballot.
