The text contains many uses of ambiguous terminology,such as "last page number" meaning "preceding page number".

Examples include those on pages 97 (reference in 6.2.2 to the previous section), page 108 (in the following section), page 113 (see following section twice, followed by occurrences of the same term throughout the text, such as on pages 114, 123, 124, 125, etc), page 191 (preceding table), page 192 (preceding table and previous example), page 223 (previous section), page 393 (previous chapter), page 646 and 684 (previous section)
