Subject: Re: [office-comment] protection-key attribute in ODF 1.0
Murata, *ODF 1.2* has a new section dealing with this - section 18.1047 (tables) and 18.1190 (text). It has some more elements to play with. However, I think it is still it could need a few more attributes regarding how the password is stored and generated. The current draft doesn't mention this at all and the schemas specify it as <text/> or <ref name="string"/> ... with is more or less the same as "unspecified". For inspiration - look at the similar sections in IS 29500 section 2.15.1.28 *included the response to national bodies* *Response 102*. /Jesper Lund Stocholm www.idippedut.dk 2008/7/7 MURATA Makoto (FAMILY Given) <eb2m-mrt@asahi-net.or.jp> > Hashing for the protection-key attribute of ODF 1.0 > is away underspecified. > > > http://idippedut.dk/post/2008/02/OOXML-is-defective-1-(Pasword-hashing).aspx<http://idippedut.dk/post/2008/02/OOXML-is-defective-1-%28Pasword-hashing%29.aspx> > > http://blogs.msdn.com/ericwhite/archive/2008/01/25/hashing-of-passwords-in-the-open-xml-file-format.aspx > > -- > MURATA Makoto (FAMILY Given) <EB2M-MRT@asahi-net.or.jp> > > > -- > This publicly archived list offers a means to provide input to the > OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC. > > In order to verify user consent to the Feedback License terms and > to minimize spam in the list archive, subscription is required > before posting. > > Subscribe: office-comment-subscribe@lists.oasis-open.org > Unsubscribe: office-comment-unsubscribe@lists.oasis-open.org > List help: office-comment-help@lists.oasis-open.org > List archive: http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office-comment/ > Feedback License: http://www.oasis-open.org/who/ipr/feedback_license.pdf > List Guidelines: http://www.oasis-open.org/maillists/guidelines.php > Committee: > http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/tc_home.php?wg_abbrev=office > >
