Subject: PRD02 - OpenFormula strings?
Dear all, In Pt 2, 5.4, the BNF for constant strings is given as: String ::= '"' ([^"#x00] | '""')* '"' And the text states that, in XML "XML escaping rules apply". Yet how can this BNF be reconciled with the character repertoire XML permits (in which a number of characters are prohibited)? The BNF should either be aligned with XML 1.0, or a provision added that OF strings in XML documents must align with XML 1.0. - Alex. ______________________________________________________________________ This email has been scanned by the MessageLabs Email Security System.
