Subject: units for angles test files
Here are three test files that contain a rotated rectangle. The rotation is done by draw:transform="rotate (0.785)". 0.785 is PI / 4 which corresponds to 45 degrees. In Calligra 2.4.0 and LibreOffice 3.5, this rectangle is shown rotated 45 degrees for the ODF 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 files. It would be useful to check the interpretation of angles in other applications too. AbiWord and WebODF do not support draw:rect at the moment. http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3750 Here is a summary of some testing. The rectangle is represented by / or \ for 45 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise. An empty space means, that it is not shown. 1.0 1.1 1.2 Calligra 2.4.0 / / / LibreOffice 3.5.1.2 / / / Microsoft Word 2010 \ \ \ Abiword 2.8.6 WebODF master Microsoft 2010 only opened the v1.2 file after a number of file dialogs that claimed the file was corrupted. None of these implementations interpreted the angle in degrees, all interpreted it as radians. Cheers, Jos
