Well, most distribution functions give densities and cumulative
distributions (left tails). So it does make sense to have them for "all"
distributions.

If we also want to have right tails, we should either change teh
selector for the DIST functions to have 3 values rather than 2, or
introduce a DISTR for "all" distributions.

Currently the old CHIDIST sticks out in that it is different from the
rest. If we simply want to retain it as a legacy function for
compatibility then I think we should retain the name. Of course we could
also rename t to LEGACY.CHISQDISTR
