Subject: [office-formula] Table:search-criteria-must-apply-to-whole-cellSetting
I'm trying to discern which parts of the specification are affected by the Table:search-criteria-must-apply-to-whole-cell Setting. The only specific mention is in section "4.9.8 Criteria". Based on section 4.9.8, I gather that this setting is meant to apply to database query functions (DAVERAGE, DCOUNT, DCOUNTA, DGET, DMAX, DMIN, DPRODUCT, DSTDEV, DSTDEVP, DSUM, DVAR, DVARP) that use Criteria. I propose that we be more specific, adding a note to the functions that are affected, similar to the following note that we add for other calculation settings: Note that in an OpenDocument table (such as a spreadsheet), this function's search criteria is impacted by table:use-regular-expressions or table:use-wildcards. In addition to the Database Query functions, are any other functions influenced by this setting? Are other comparisons within formulas using = or <>? Thanks, Eric Patterson
