Subject: Non-Scalar Evaluation and Intersection
Greetings! I am still trying to tease out the non-scalar evaluation and intersection language. We start with: > > 1. > > Evaluation as an implicit intersection of the argument with the > expression's evaluation position. > and for inline arrays say: > 1. > > Inline Arrays > Element (0;0) of the array is used in place of the array. > But that is hardly intersection in any meaningful use of the term. If an inline array is passed to a function and not evaluated as a matrix, the value of element (0;0) of the array is returned to the function. (full stop) Doesn't matter what cell the expression occurs in. Yes? More comments follow on references. Hope everyone is having a great day!
